Hi guys,

Do Ethernet interfaces and Trunking FastEthernet isl subinterfaces on a
router doing irb need to share the same layer 3 address?

I am asking this cos of scenarios where you are bridging across multiple
vlans. Is a vlan not by definition a separate layer 3 address space? If this
is so, how can you have them in the same bridge group?

TIA,
E'Guru
