I ran across a similar issue & my good buddy Morris busted me out on it.

I couldn't figure out for the life of me why my snapshot kept going down & comi
ng back up.

He kept saying your snapshots broke & I kept saying... Nope! Configured just li
ke the CD says!

Turns out I had a dialer idle-timeout of 20 seconds left in there.

Needless to say snapshot didn't have enough time to do it's job & had to try ag
ain.... & again... & again... So on & so forth...

So once again I looked like a fool! *sigh*

Damn snapshot!

It appears as if I didn't configure the "idle-timeout" to be long enough. I
bumped it up to 500 and my issue went away.
