I am having some trouble with dialer watch and EIGRP. I can get the dialer
watch to work, it dials and EIGRP works no problem. The issue is that when
the primary interface comes back up, the ISDN line never turns itself off.
At the idle timeout I see it bring the line down, and then it brings it
right back up. Below is a little drawing.
172.16.7.0/24

| ISDN |
---------------------r8
I am having r8 watch the route 172.16.7.0/24, when I shut down the Ethernet
interface the ISDN comes on no problem. I get the route to 172.16.7.0/24
via r2 and the ISDN line, since that part of the Ethernet segment is still
up. Now from what I understand, when the ethernet interface comes back on
line and the route is seen via the ethernet again, dialer watch is supposed
to recognize that and shut down the ISDN link. Sorry so long, any ideas?
