Guru Schwarmys ....

I've got a redistribution problem and need help .... here is the scenario.

Let's say I've got 3 routers, the links between the routers are not important,
lets say they're just HDLC.

  Loop0:15.15.1.1/24 Loop0:15.15.2.2/24
            | |
            | |
           R1--------------------------R2
            |
            |
           R3
            |
            |
  Loop0:15.15.3.3/24

OK, so were got IS-IS running on the loop0 on R1 and R2 and the link between R1
and R2. We've got OSPF running on the link between R1 and R3 and loop0 on R3.

On R1 I want to perform redistribution from IS-IS to OSPF. When I do this, R3 o
nly sees R2's loopback in it's routing table and "not" R1's loopback. My questi
on ... is this because R1 sees it's loopback as connected (even though it's in
IS-IS) and therefore does no redistribute into OSPF. The only way I get R1's lo
opback into R3 is by redistributing connected.

Is there another way around this or is this how you do it ???

TIA .... MW :)
