Hello All:

When executing the following command: erase flash, I receive the following erro
r message -

Router#erase flash
Erasing the flash filesystem will remove all files! Continue? [confirm]
%dev_open: System flash not writable
%Error erasing flash: (Device is read-only)

This is the very first time I have experienced a problem such as this, done res
earch but didnt get any answers!

Please advise...
