OSPF pinging loopback address

thanks for the replies.

But yes I am advertising the loopback address e.g.

loopback 0
ip address 1.1.1.1 255.255.255.255

router ospf 1
network 1.1.1.1 0.0.0.0 area 0

if you enter this, then for some reason it does not
ping to the loopback address. Is it the inverse mask
which is wrong?
