No, I haven't been able to configure a clock rate on a DTE cabled interface,
but I have been able to configure a clock rate on a DCE cabled interface
that is configured as a "frame-relay intf-type dte" under the interface
configuration. Allyn

I beg to differ. I have tried to use the clock rate command on an
interface with a DE cable and got an error message about wrong cable
type. Have you been able to successfully configure a clock rate on a
DTE cabled interface.
