Hi Group,
I know that EIGRP and IGRP does automatic redistribution between them. How
exactly does it work? Do they need same AS in order to do automatic
redistribution? How can you avoid redistribution if that's the case.
One the same token,
EIGRP uses same routing update packets for IP,IPX & APPLE routes. For this
to happen do you have to use same AS for IP,IPX & APPLE? You can do it
easily with IP,IPX but when you use 2 routers with same AS for APPLE it
complains about that number being used.
Please help me understand behaviour of these routing protocols.
