The 6509 can only support IOS SLB using IOS based flash for the SUP engine
with the MSFC.
Normally, you have a flash image for the Sup engine and separate IOS image
for the MSFC.
There is a single IOS version for the entire switch that supports both the
Sup engine and the MSFC.
The IOS image that supports this is: SC6SUPC-12101E Catalyst 6000 SUPERVISOR

A license is also needed: FR-IOSSLB Catalyst 6000 Supervisor IOS SLB Feature
License
With this release of the IOS the command set for the switch is entirely IOS
command driven.
