CCIE LAB ATM POSSIBILITES
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/625/ccie/ATM_FAQs.html
3600 series routers
2500 series routers
4000 and 4500 series routers
Catalyst 5000 series switches
You just have to be able to configure as ATM client no switches.

I reviewed ATM Offerings
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/sol/mkt/ent/atm/

I doubt my lab 3600 will have a ATM Module as it requires 12.0(4)T and was
released in March. The 2500 doesn't do ATM. That only leaves the 4000's
NP-1A DS-3 adapter and the Catalyst 5000 to configure.

My question is since we are only configuring an ATM client what
hardware/part would you use on the Cat5000 ? The Lightstream 1010 in slot
13 makes it a switch so that rules it out. What part am I missing here ?
ATM line card for slots 1-12 ?

check "show lane server", "show lane bus" verify ATM switch is good and get
elan name.

int ATM0
no ip addr
atm pvc 1 0 5 qsall
atm pvc 2 0 16 ilmi
lane config auto-config-atm-address

int ATM0.1 multipoint
ip addr x.x.x.x y.y.y.y
lane server-bus ethernet elanname1 <---get from show lane bus
lane client ethernet elanname1

See anything wrong for ATM client ?
