Joe,

This why I am saying that different flavors of 15 code have different
behaviors. I am running "151-1.T2" and I am able to set the AD on the
summary-addres command configured under an interface.

R1(config)#*Int S0/1/0*
R1(config-if)#*ip summary-address eigrp 1 1.1.0.0 255.255.252.0 ?*
  *<1-255> Administrative distance*
  leak-map Allow dynamic prefixes based on the leak-map
  <cr>
R1(config-if)#*ip summary-address eigrp 1 1.1.0.0 255.255.252.0 100*
*
*
R1#*Show ip route eigrp | I Null0*
D 1.1.0.0/22 is a summary, 00:03:16, Null0
