redistribute connected in exam

Experts,

When I practice on online racks, i always add "redist connected" in BGP so
that when I do end-to-end connectivity tests, I don't have to put 'source
loo0'.

ping 100.100.100.1 source loop0

router ospf 100
 network x.x.x.x.

router bgp 100
add ipv4 uni
redist connected
redist ospf 100

For the lab exam purpose do you think we can use 'redistribute connected'
and won't loose mark?

What has your experience been?

In most workbook, vendor just says make sure after this task <this> should
b able to ping with <this>. What normally do they expect, - with source
interface or without source interface?
