I would say look at unprotected DWDM waves. You can get a 1 Gig pretty
cheap, depending where you are. MLPS will provide you path protection but
at a much higher cost.

Contact me offline if you are interested in specific carriers. We are
putting one in between Chicago and Amsterdam.
