That's correct Irfan.
All major datacenters use SC patch panels here in the US. The tech's and machinery are all setup for SC.
We find ourselves buying 1 to 3 Meter SC to LC single mode patch cables so often we have the page favorite in our browsers to the website we order them from :)

The majority of equipment now comes in LC because most manufacturers are making smaller and more dense line cards. However from personal experience SC connectors are more suitable for Patch Panels because they are easy to manage and use, LC connectors can be very fiddly to install and their push lock mechanism isnt as good as SC.
Is the above statement true or for new installs are LC patch panels are better options. Please advise from your experiences..
