There's actually quite a number of reasons - the first of which deals with a
maximum of 80 recorded calls. I would contact one of the vendors (I prefer
Nice http://www.nice.com/smartcenter-suite/interaction-recording) and get
their take of what advantages their product has over the basic integrated
recording. If you just want cost effective basic recording then the integrated
option should work for you. But many desired features might push your client
to desire third party software - same as with CDR.
