Haha.. network layer - nexus100v is the Donat king at this stage and I have
only tested it with VMware cloud director.
VMware distributed switch is very limited.

not sure about how Xen is progressing - Citrix has distributed switch
controller that orchestrates NW virtulization but hey' it's not "FREE"
either. I have not checked the performance though.
