OT:cisco 6500 runing configration..help??

Hello to all group members:-
                                       i want to know where the startup
configration of cisco 6500 switch save.i am facing a problem when i unplug
the power of the switch i lost my startup configration and switch boots
with default configuration.kindly help me on this matter.
