Hey Tom!
Unless the CCIE lab prohibits it I would at least do it on your frame relay
interfaces, it's going to make your life a whole lot easier if you do.
Another thing to think about is a regrade, what will happen if you mapped
the dynamically generated link-local address and they loaded your configs
onto some OTHER rack? Will your frame maps survive? Probably not!
In the end do you what you are comfortable with and that isn't restricted.
