Had bad experience with 26xx and DRAM upgrades - tried over 20 different modules once from other equipment, and didn't have any luck. Luckily the DRAMs were borrowed from our service stock, so no cost involved. Also, i haven't touched my gear in a long time so now it takes space and I'd have to shell out money to liquidate it or go through hassle of selling it. But yeah, if you have space to put and keep those...
