bear with me I am not sure how to word this.
example- you have EIGRP, RIP and OSPF running on the same router. I know you
can't redistribute EIGRP into RIP and then RIP into OSPF and expect the
EIGRP router to be in OSPF. I don't remember the underlining reason behind
this. I believe it was because the redistribution takes from the routing
table and when you redistribute on a router the routes will not be in the
routing table as the second protocol to be redistributed into the third.
Any thought/comments or corrections.
