Hi,
My company also provides CCM IP Telephony over vsat links and it works well,
we usually dont have problems. If you look at the keepalive parameters, you
will find something like that:
*Station KeepAlive Interval :*
This parameter designates the interval between KeepAlive messages sent from
Cisco IP Phones to the primary Cisco CallManager.
This is a required field.
Default: 30.
Unit: sec.
Minimum: 10.
Maximum: 1000.
You can always play with these settings, we have over 500 vsat with ipt
deployed and we use the default (30 secs) , it works well.. we also have
srst in place to make sure local telephony works on a failure.
