Connecting Dynamips routers on a Laptop with real switches

Dear Experts,

I am going to start my lab preparation. I am planning to practice INE /
Narbik workbook with dynamips and later buy 3550 switches to connect with
dynamips routers for practicing basic switching topics. To practice the 3560
specific features I am planning to rent a rack.

For portability reasons, I prefer to buy a dedicated Laptop with i7
processor - windows platform rather than a PC if there is a way to connect
the laptop to the 4 real switches successfully.(via USB hub (LAN adapter) or
somehow). Kindly advise me whether it is possible with a laptop. Or possible
only with a PC that has Quad ports?
