Re: OT Parnters and Attached CCIE

This might be off topic a bit, but what if you have multiple certifications?

Could we associate our CCNA/CCNP to a Premier, and then later get CCIE
without associating it to anyone? A premier who has no intent to go Silver
or Gold would have no use for your CCIE.

And then in this case, if we part ways with the premier partner our CCIE is
a 3free agent2 per se....?

I also understand that this 12 month lock is not set in stone. The partner
who has your CCIE associated could 3release2 you from this 12 month period.
Also, you can petition Cisco to have it released. I hear that under certain
circumstances Cisco will drop the restriction even when the partner does not
comply (for example in situations where you left because of ethical
dilemma).
