Anthony,

Where is this coming from? Petr and I were talking about the lab exam (As
was most of this string), poking back and forth. Sometimes reading the
first line in an email and responding makes for silly responses. I wasn't
speaking of the written for retaking ;)

Every time I think I am out of the thread....they pull me back in!

Just kidding! :-)

Hi TS!

There are some interesting rules in place on the written I have noticed.
There is a required delay period implemented after the lab pass, then if you
fail it once you try recert, a delay period, then if you pass it, another
delay period kicks in.

I have always assumed these are in place to help protect the integrity.

As an author of written prep materials, I always visit (and pass :-) ) the
R&S written about every 6 months just to keep fresh with the style and
scope. I have never been denied access to the written with that type of
frequency.
