Every hex digit between the colon is 16 bits. every hex digit is 4 bits
Firt check the hex digits that are the same.
2001:150:1: = 48 bit (3x16)
the first difference is in the next colon. Write down the complete hex
structure.
0005
0008
The first three hex digits are the same: 000 this 12 bits (3x4)
Then we have left 5 and 8. write it down in binary
0101
1000
We can see that there no bits match so your mask will be 48+12=60
