Mine was setup with the following ...
1. Linksys WRT54GL running DD-WRT
2. SSH and Dynamic DNS services on the Linksys as I am on a dynamic IP hence
remembering the hostname is all I have to do ;-). Port forwarding/other
misc. config is also done on the Linksys.
3. My terminal server is then attached to one of the LAN ports on the
Linksys.
4. Pray and hope that my ISP does not always kills my connection.
5. Voila! I have worldwide connectivity even from my phone ;-)
Nothing really fancy, simple setup and cost efficient. Now let's just hope
those lightnings don't come and 'play' with my box ...
