You mean you don't use flashing lights of varying color with hamsters to let
them know which light switch to flip? Man... this PowerEthernet controller
thingy is going to be way more reliable. I feel bad for all that wasted
training we did for the little guys if technology can do the same thing but
thanks for the tip ;)
Although this is a joke... I had a previous co-worker whose father worked
for the automotive union, UAW, that basically did the above and was replaced
with a machine once he retired. The machine should have replaced him 20
years earlier but due to union rules he was kept on to push that all
important button. With stories like this it always escapes me as to why
some of the automotive companies are going bankrupt.

I think most of the vendors have that. We have it as well, but its not
something that we programmed, it came with the PowerEthernet controller that
allows you to power cycle one or more devices on your rack.
