well, actually there's one guy called jeremy stretch which started about 1-2 years ago with a really nice blog, and is trying to be an instructor (actually he's looking for a job).
he started a website/blog called http://www.packetlife.net/ with really great content (I love his cheatsheets).
he started to build up a lab for free, which you can rent (you may donate if you want):
