Using vtp with third party switches in-the-middle

Hi folks,
I'm challenged to use vtp where the vtp server switch is behind a Nortel
Switch.

First option: Using QinQ tunnel. Problem, some devices are 2960 that seem
they don't support QinQ.
Second option: Try to active vtp protocol at the trunk connecting nortel
switch, and let`s see if nortel,don't modify dtp and send them thought the
nortel to the opposite site.
Third option: Write down and send this problem to the groupstudy mail...

I didn't try the options yet, because the switches are at non-stop
environment.
