Can you do a show run? Do you have pruning activated? Is vlan 100
un-restricted?

Cristian.

I think you have a multicast propagation issue here; updates seem to be sent
but not acknowledged back. After 15 retries of updating, and no Ack
received, EIGRP will reset (Peer Goodbye Received) the neighbor. Do you have
pruning activated, or some of the switches are in transparent mode?
Regards,
Cristian.

Also need to know when we get the message maximum retransmission limit
exceeded what does that convey.I think each error message has got it own
meaning which will help us to isolate the problem quickly.
Pls Guide,

Hi Experts,
I need your help.My eigrp neighborship is flapping like anything. Its a
simple
config between R6 and my BB1 router.checked the BB router no special
configuration
line over there.I am able to ping the BB router but the Q count shows>0.
and i receive "peer good-bye received" message always.I am not able to
figure
out
what could be the issue.
Can anyone suggest me a link or flow chart which we can follow for
troubleshooting
flapping links for eigrp and ospf?It will be a great help..
