Did you know that if you put your head in a freezer and your feet in
an oven, the average temperature of your body is just fine?

Joking aside, I don't think you should waste time in the lab. You have
task at hand. Big and complex one. Do what you think will help you,
but don't waste time on things you don't need to do. Making block
diagrams of technologies will not give you points. But, you may be
having a problem You may be having a huge problem and time may be
running out... Wouldn't you want to have that one more hour you spent
on block diagrams you never used?
