This is not a shot at anyone or any vendor personally, but I
honestly wouldn't trust anyone that was offering a CCDE practical
bootcamp. I took the practical the first time around in beta format,
and also personally spoke with a bunch of the engineers that took it
again a few weeks ago here in Chicago.
Based on the structure of the exam, there's simply no way that you
could create a training class to prepare someone for it. I'm sure those
of you who actually took the exam would agree. You *could* potentially
offer a class that is generically design focused, but I guarantee
anything less than probably four weeks of class would be insufficient.
The topic scope and depth is simply too large to prepare for it in a
bootcamp style format.
If you are serious about preparing for this exam, the best thing you
can do for yourself is read through all the relevant Cisco Validated
Design documents (previously SRNDs), and basically every single text you
can find on Ethernet, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, L2VPN, L3VPN, and High
Availability designs.
Good luck in your pursuit,
Brian McGahan, CCIE #8593 (R&S/SP/Security)
