OT - SLB with Extension Mobility

Hello Experts,

Has anyone there configured SLB for load balance and redundancy purpose using
request url method instead of only relying on TCP port? The idea is to monitor
the EM service as well, not only the port so that it provides another level of
redudancy, however, the SLB is unable to detect the EM service down if tomcat
is running. The redundancy works only if both are down. Looking for a working
configuration where SLB identifies EM service down on publisher through the
probe/request url method and fails over to subscriber. Perhaps another
approach, not hardware specific as there is no content switch available. DNS
is to be the last...
