Just to add some of my experience, first of all now there is no room for
CCIEs in Pakistan, There are lot who could not get a job or working on same
old jobs with same salaries. Secondly I know many ccies who are even ready
to work for Rs. 70K.(less then 1000$ /m)
The things matter now is how much experience one have on vendor side and
second is post CCIE experience.
Frankly speaking CCIE is not a dream certification now. It is easy to
achieve using different materials available on web sites (everybody know
about it).
