It's not a bad idea to throw a timeout value of 1 there as well, no reason to wait 2 seconds for a lab network. Combined with what Con mentioned, you're only stuck 3 seconds.

I agree it sucks - I generally set my tcl script to repeat 3 just to
speed it up a little.
