Anthony,

Although I agree with you, somewhat - I also think that products
should ship as "completed" products - and not positioned as
"unfinished / more to come later" training solutions.

Now, in the case where a blueprint changes (like they are now
for 3 tracks) - there, typically, (every since I have been in this
business) are milestones / releases done to get content out to clients
quicker (in chunks as they're completed) so studying is not
interrupted due to lack of content - However - going back to my
reasoning - I feel it's misleading for a training company to say "our
products will NEVER be completed" - the "spin" should be probably
positioned as "if we find a better way of explaining something, or add
content to our FINISHED products, we will provide you with these new
enhancents or revisions". (similar to a patch on the Windows OS).

I think the slam or comments you're referring to have to do with
the fact that "some vendors" will ship a product that's far from
completed - and never complete it....and these vendors attempt to say,
"come on, our products will NEVER be completed - and it's a good
thing!"....our customers are not stupid - and what really annoys me
(and MANY, MANY others) is when vendors attempt to put a marketing and
sales spin on their negative attributes or weaknesses....
