OT: When It is Done its Done - BAH!

I saw a statement recently on GS that really shocked me. It was the
fact that once a CCIE prep product is done, it is done. An exception
was made I believe for things like typo corrections.

Myself, and the other trainers here at INE, could not disagree with
this more. One of the most exciting things about electronic (Internet-
based) distribution of training content is the ability to maintain
"freshness" and relevance of this material.

Back when I was at the revolutionary, online training outfit
KnowledgeNet, we loved to promote the frequent update of our Cisco
content. The only problem was, with such an obscene number of titles,
the only real updates were when Cisco decided to update their Official
Curriculum. Sadly, KnowledgeNet was not "grey market". :-)

At INE, we have embraced the concept of content freshness, and plan on
updating most, if not all, content areas as needed. For example, while
I just finished postings for the Self Paced CCIE R/S Written product,
I already have plans for two additional interactive exercises on BGP
that students have indirectly requested. While I did not deem these
exercises needed for passing the written on my first pass, if it can
help students master BGP, that is good enough for me!

Well, as a learner on GroupStudy since 2004, I appreciate your
patience regarding this OT post. Please unicast all hate mail to asequeira_at_ine.com

Warmest Regards,
