I still think you have a jaded and off-kilt view of the world, but
that's just my opinion, and clearly doesn't matter.
I'm not sure why you'd think (previous e-mail) I'd split off
independently or what the world would gain by that. I'm not sure why
you'd think it had not entered my mind before, or even become
interesting with financial backers. But my reasons, or other people's
reasons to do whatever they want really aren't your business or the
general public's business unless someone wants them to be.
That I think is the part that I find the strangest about all of this.
You come in and stir up a lot, shake things (then leave for a while).
You take quotes/concepts out of context from different conversations,
presuming that you were the only one present or aware of anything else
shaking internally with the 'program', and it all stems down to whether
things revolve around you or not.
It took me a while to figure that one out, more than likely because I
was thinking that wasn't possible.
If there are disenfranchised instructors out there... So what? Let
them do whatever they feel like doing. The market will adjust itself.
If there are some employers seeking to entice others away... So be it.
That is the gist of a business market, is it not?
If Cisco wants to pay us all gobs of money to go away so they can have
the market all to themselves, so be it. (That would be lots of fun)
But the bottom line is fretting, predicting, panicking or otherwise
inducing mayhem is not necessary.
Rather than playing "Who Wants to be a Psychic?" and pretending enough
details that statistically you'll be accurate much of the time, why not
give specifics. Then you can either be right or wrong. Granted, many of
those may break an NDA along the way if you're dealing with insider
information, but that induces much less mayhem then making things up and
skirting the issue.
We MAY or MAY NOT have a nuclear missle buried in your back yard Mr.
President. You decide.
