i was trying with simple 3 router topology for configuring virtual links .
why does area 0 appear in the following output instead of
area 1 in IA inter area route

topology (ro(172.16.23.0 area 0)--->r1(172.16.123.0 area 1)----->r2

r0#show ip ospf route

            OSPF Router with ID (0.0.0.1) (Process ID 1)

    Area BACKBONE(0)

    Intra-area Route List
* 172.16.26.0/24, Intra, cost 10, area 0, Connected
      via 172.16.26.1, FastEthernet0/0

    Intra-area Router Path List
i 172.16.26.2 [10] via 172.16.26.2, FastEthernet0/0, ABR, Area 0, SPF 5
