Regarding FR Payload Compression

Hi Experts,
I have a doubt regarding FR payload compression technique. Here is the
scenario:-

R1--- FR (point-to-point) ---R2

Now I have to configure TCP header compression for PVC from R1--- R2..

Therefore the CLI on R1 is:-

frame-relay ip tcp header-compression active.

Now my questions are:-

1. When the question says compression should be from R1-R2. It means R1 is
the source and R2 is the destination. Now if that is true , then this
command " *frame-relay ip tcp header-compression active* " should go on R1
.and *frame-relay ip tcp header-compression passive *should go on R2.

Please advise if this is correct or not. Coz My Router R1 is not letting me
use the keyword active . Below is the output for reference:-

r1(config-subif)#frame-relay ip tcp header-compression acti
r1(config-subif)#frame-relay ip tcp header-compression activ
r1(config-subif)#frame-relay ip tcp header-compression ?
passive Compress for destinations sending compressed headers
