The tricky topology is like this
SW1(Server) -- SW2(Transparent) -- SW3(client)
This scenario make some difficult tricks arise like VTP vlan propogation
and more complex stuff like VTP pruning blocking some vlan traffic not
identified by the transparent switch
Indeed changing the vlan database on the server will cause it to flood the
entire vlan info across the VTP domain
But again I still recommend rebooting the switches instead of banging my head
against the wall
