I recently had a problem where the VTP information were not being propagated.
I tried to find if there are configuration errors that might do it.
1- Make sure your trunks are up ( Obviously)
2- do not hesitate to reboot the switches ( This worked for me more than once
and I will defiantly do it in the lab if i even doubt any strange behaviout)

Cisco Documentation is really poor on this one
Here is what I think but need others to confirm it
Only VTP V2 transparent mode will forward VLAN info to switches beyond
VTP V1 transparent mode will only forward VLAN info if the VTP domain matches
strange command I saw only recently and never even tried it ( VTP mode off)
Can anyone share his experience about this new command, confirm VTP V1 vs V2
behavior or share any of his troubleshooting experience
