NSSA ABR with distribute-list out???

I was under the impression that with an NSSA, on the ABR, not the ASBR, you
could use "summary-address"
to summarize the type 7 LSAs before the ABR advertised them out to the
backbone. I Labed it up and it worked
great. :-)

I was also under the impression that you could do the same thing with
"distribute-list out". (If it's an NSSA).
I tried it out in the same Lab environment that I used for the
summary-address test and could not get it to work.
If I used it on the ASBR it worked great and prevented the specified routes
from being sent out into OSPF.
But, when I tried it on the ABR if failed.

Is this actually possible or am I crazy (again) and remember it wrong?

Thanks,
Bryan R.
