Per-Port, Per-Vlan classification...

Im trying to figure out in what scenario you would use per-port per-vlan
classification.?.? Wouldnt you only use it on a trunk when you want to

rate-limit the bw of a particular vlan?

Also, on the 3550, since you can use match vlan" couldnt you just classify

the vlan traffic, police it in the policy map and apply that policy map to
the

trunk itself?
