EIGRP Transport

Hello!

I know Eigrp uses RTP for transport. Its also written that EIGRP uses IP
protocol 88 for transport. I think RTP is just sequence number and
acknowledgment within the eigrp header. Does that mean that RTP is just a
mechanism within IP protocol 88?. What is the relation between IP protocol
88 and RTP? If someone can explain this I shall be grateful.

Thanks
