Which policies have failed?

that give the biggest tax breaks to
        company's

Companies pay a lot in taxes. The USA has the
2nd highest corporate tax rate in the world. Why
do you say they get "the biggest tax breaks"?

When that tax rate was reduced, yes, they got a
tax break. If you're paying ...oh let's just say
10 billion in taxes and, then the tax break brings
that down to 7 billion ...one could say, hey,
they got a 3 billion tax break! That's huge. But
they're still paying 7 billion on taxes.

These figures are for illustation, I don't claim
they are accurate in any way. However, I think
Exxon paid $30 Billion in taxes for 2007.

        who ship jobs oversees

Maybe they're looking for the cheaper corporate
taxes in other countries? Maybe if the USA
reduced the corporate and captial gains taxes,
they wouldn't be so willing to "ship jobs
overseas".

then what do you expect for entire
communitys across several parts of this
nation who have lost their jobs when
        plants/factorys close down.

The Democrats favorite strategy. Hope and pray
the people will not understand, it was their
increased taxes and protection trade practices
that forced the jobs to go away. Then blame the
"big companies".

Government plays a role with its Policy's along with Wallstreet and CEO's of some of the largest companys in regulating a healthy US Economy. Greed is the reason why most CEO's ship their operations overseas. I'm all for free trade but there has to be some sort of regulation that protects american workers. The Rich keep getting richer and those not as fortunate continue to loose JOBS that are being shipped overseas. The line has to be drawn somewhere to Protect American Workers. As a contractor I've been amazed how over the past few years the explosion with Major F500 companys in our own Field of networking exploiting foreigners to come here and Work on their Visa for low wages just because they know they can get away with it.
