Hi Omkar,

Not too sure what your confusion is about. I don't have the SN workbook, but
from
what you describe, the issue here would exactly be that you need to
configure
a virtual link. This type of question wants to make sure that you understand
the
requirements like, "Make sure all area 0 adjacencies are authenticated" or
"Make sure all OSPF area 0 links are authenticated".
So of course you'd need virtual links here. And I bet, somewhere down in
this lab
you'd find requirements like the above. This is just to make sure that you
understand
that virtual link _is_ an area 0 link and you must authenticate over the
virtual link,
Otherwise your network is _not_ protected. (and you have also not fulfilled
the
requirement!)
