Anthony,
I respect you and admire you man... I read your "flashcards" habitually
before interviews for 6 months...
I don't mean you no disrespect...
I'll be nicer; just don't compare me to a guy who has been to 7 bootcamps,
one with the "German Conductor" and still can't pass ;)
I passed on blood, sweat, tears, and the leniency of American Express ;)
I'll nail all 4, 5 or even 6 (providing wireless is for real).
As I throw commands in my ASA/12.2T dynagen/AAA server for the security lab,
and drink champagne its normal to go a little crazy...
XO
-Joe

Don't be angry... you can afford to go RTP next month and sit the
Security
lab also... will you?
that is the question... I'll be a 4-star general like the people I "ass
kiss" and you still be...

The comparison was based on your consistent ass kissing of particular
posters on the forum.
But your right, there is no comparison. No one ever posted here and said
"Darby need not reply."

In order for an SVI to become "up/up" the following conditions must be
met
1) VLAN must exist in local database and be in "active" state (not
suspended, not shutdown).
2) VLAN must be in STP forwarding state for at least one port in the
switch.
That splits into either one of two sub-conditions:
2.1 There exist an access port in this VLAN, which is in spanning-tree
forwarding state
2.2) There exist a trunk, where VLAN is allowed, not pruned, and is in
STP
forwarding state.
3) If STP is disabled for a VLAN, the only additional condition to (1)
is
for VLAN to be active on any of the switch ports (be it access or
trunk).
