Actually, you wrote "PPOE", with 2xP. One never knows with ATM,
perhaps it was a valid acronym :-).

In any case, you are luckily not in for a lot of pain. These two (3?)
things are pretty standard and usual xDSL technologies used today. ATM
can be so much more complex and archaic than that ;-).
