ipv6 link local configuration

Hi experts,

While going through some labs on ipv6, I have realized that on the answers
sometimes they hardcode a link-local ipv6 address when it is over a
frame-relay network and we are going to run an ipv6 routing protocol over
it.

My question is, on the real exam are we going to be able to hardcode a
link-local address? Or would that break the 'don't assign any ip address'
statement?

Thanks for your help.
